Mission Statement
The Polygraph Examiners Board’s mission is to establish and enforce standards of instrumentation, regulation and education relating to polygraph in the state of Alabama. The Board is authorized to license and regulate all persons purporting to be able to detect deception and verify truth of statements. The board was given the authority to protect the Public from untrained, unlicensed and unscrupulous persons.
